The # C45CR has an exposed cross tube and the strength to allow for use with a weight distribution hitch. The # C99FR has a hidden cross tube and the design prevents the use of a weight distribution hitch but is a better looking receiver if you only need to use for carrying hitch mounted accessories or towing small utility trailers. Typically a weight distribution hitch is only going... view full answer...

For a trailer with a fully loaded and ready to tow tongue weight (which includes weight of cargo stowed behind tow vehicle's rear axle) below 600 lbs, use # EQ37060ET. For a fully loaded and ready to tow trailer tongue weight of 600-1000 lbs, use # EQ37100ET.
Both systems include the weight distributing shank, and the # EQ37060ET system includes a 2 inch trailer ball. The # EQ37100ET... view full answer...
The hitch pin weight of 1400 lbs you stated is so close to your payload capacity, but that is not accounting for the 5th wheel hitch and rail weights or the loaded weight with cargo added. Tunda's are notorious for having a lower payload and in this case, I can't tell you it will be fine. The payload weight is spread out over the truck bed where the 5th wheel rails are mounted to the frame directly so are more secure. Unfortunately manufacturers don't test for the 5th Wheel Hitch weight... view full answer...
